PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable partition having superior cutoff performance. SOLUTION: The movable partition and the movable partition assembly have a first panel 111 having a recessed part 111a for forming a cross-sectional shape in the thickness direction in a substantially circular arc shape, a second panel 111 having a projecting part 112b for forming a cross-sectional shape in the thickness direction in a substantially circular arc shape and arranged so that the projecting part 112b and the recessed part 111b are fitted, and a connecting means for relatively rotatably connecting the first panel 111 and the second panel 112, that is, the connecting means 120 for movably connecting the first panel 111 and the second panel 112 in the relatively separating direction; and are formed so that the recessed part 111a has a projection part 111c projecting from the substantially circular arc shape of the recessed part 111a over the substantially total length to the side for positioning the connecting means of an end surface part of the first panel, and the projection part 111c can abut on the projecting part 112b.
