PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sensitivity to detect mobile seat positional differences so as to reduce the volume of the correction of their positional differences, in a control system for forward and backward linear movements of seats. SOLUTION: The mobile seats 1 is provided with optical distance measurement devices SL, SC and SR, a controller 40 and an irradiated component 61 having an irradiated surface arranged in a region on either a wall surface 71 or its opposite surface 1a on the seat evacuation side, irradiated by light from the central optical distance measuring device SC, and structured so that a measured distance by the central optical measuring device SC can monotonously increase or decrease according to lateral positions of light irradiated from the measuring device SC. The controller 40 calculates a standard distance measured by the central optical measuring device SC based on measured values by right and left optical measuring devices SL and SR, and detects the lateral positional differences of a seat stand 20 based on actual measured and standard distances calculated by the central optical measuring device SC.
