PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation capable of being suitably applied to inflammation such as allergic inflammation and atopic dermatitis, of which the control is difficult for an ordinary anti-inflammatory, such as indomethacin or prednisolone. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation contains (1) a flavonoid expressed by general formula (1) and/or a salt thereof and (2) a 4-alkylresorcinol derivative expressed by general formula (2) and/or a salt thereof. It is preferable that the flavonoid expressed by general formula (1) comprises apigenin, luteolin or naringenin. Further, it is preferable that the 4-alkylresorcinol derivative expressed by general formula (2) comprises 4-hexylresorcinol, 4-cyclohexylresorcinol, or 4-cyclopentylresorcinol.
