PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add flexibility and moist and settled feeling to hair even when the hair is severely injured and keep the effect for long hours. SOLUTION: The hair protective agent comprises 3 ingredients, a first ingredient contains a bromide type cationic surfactant, an amino acid and an alcohol, a second ingredient contains a chloride type surfactant, pentaerithritol tetra-2-ethylhexanoate, water and keratin PPT and a third ingredient contains a bromide type cationic surfactant, pentaerithritol tetra-2-ethylhexanoate, an amino acid-modified silicone, dimeticone and silylated keratin PPT or the like. After washing the hair and dried by towel, the first ingredient is applied to the whole hair, after washing the hair and dried by towel, the second ingredient is applied to injured part of the hair, subsequently the third ingredient is applied to the whole hair, a hair cap is put on and kept for about 5 minutes, then the hair is washed out.
