PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing register showing a superior operability when swinging of a group of fins is manually driven and at the same time performing a positive driving of the group of fins by a motor. SOLUTION: This swing register comprises: a cylindrical retainer member where air-conditioned air flows in it; a group of fins where an operating fin and at least one usual fin connected to the operating fin are arranged side by side to each other in the retainer member, a motor 3; clutch means 4 for transmitting a rotational motion of the motor to the operating fin to oscillate the group of fins when the motor and the operating fin are connected in such a way that they are moved toward to each other or away from each other and the motor and the operating fin are connected; and switch means 7 for turning on or off the rotational motion. The clutch means connects the motor with the operating fin in cooperation with the turning-on operation of the switch means and disconnects the motor from the operating fin in cooperation with the turning-off operation of the switch means.
