PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cleaner capable of appropriately removing dust in a dust collecting filter corresponding to cleaning time. SOLUTION: The electric cleaner is provided with a motor-driven blower 7 disposed inside a cleaner main body 2, a dust collecting chamber 8 where a suction negative pressure by the motor-driven blower 7 acts, a dust collecting bag (dust collecting filter) 9 facing the dust collecting chamber 8, a dust removing means 10 for removing the dust stuck to the dust collecting bag 9, and a control means 20 for controlling the drive of the dust removing means 10.
