PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device capable of performing half-cutting on an uncut tape for cut characters by normally/reversely feeding it even in cutting accompanying with by the reverse feed of the tape for cut characters. SOLUTION: The cutting device 1 is provided with a tape buffer 125 for storing a sagging part in the tape T for cut characters generated by the reverse feed of the uncut tape T for cut characters, which is delivered from a tape cartridge C exclusive for delivery, in order to perform the cutting processing on the tape T.
