PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast material capable of suppressing the risk of an injury due to splashing when performing a blasting process and dispensing with a pulverizing process when manufacturing the blast material, and hardly making a large block. SOLUTION: This blast material in which a core material made of metal particles is covered with a coating layer with hardened adhesive and an aggregation preventing material is dispersed in the coating layer is obtained by a component A preparing process for obtaining a component A by mixing the metal particles and the adhesive of viscosity 4,000 to 6,000 mPa s and an agitating and granulating process for hardening the adhesive by feeding the component A into an agitator while the aggregation preventing material is agitated in the agitator, agitating and mixing the component A and the aggregation preventing material, and granulating. In the blast material 10, the risk of the injury due to splashing when performing the blasting process can be suppressed by the coating layer 13 on the surface of the blast material.
