The present invention relates to a transparent coating member (3) to be placed on the surface of and adhered to a light-emitting diode (4), said transparent coating member (3) being in a form of a sheet and made of a silicone elastomer as a bonding resin and comprising an inorganic fluorescent substance selected from a group consisting of aluminates, phosphates and silicates, and a fluorescent color light source comprising a light-emitting diode (4) and such a transparent coating member (3) placed on the surface of and adhered to the light-emitting diode (4), whereby the wavelength of the light emitted by the light-emitting diode (4) is changed by the fluorescent substance contained in the transparent coating member (3) to change the luminescent color.
