METHOD OF PROCESSING SHRIMP FOR MARKET

A method of processing shrimp for a market is provided to enable a user to form a slit with relative ease and accurate and to remove easily shell by forming the slit on a relatively soft and even abdominal region part of a shrimp body. The method of processing shrimp for a market comprises the steps of: leaving only a shrimp body(4) having a shell(43) by removing the head from the shrimp which comprises the head and body covered with the shell and having the abdominal region part(41); forming at least one slit(40) on the abdominal region part of the shrimp body; and removing the shell from the shrimp body by peeling off the shrimp from both sides of the slit for refrigerating the shrimp body.
