<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an artificial biological member enabling reproduction of a biological tissue such as a blood vessel or nerve by a simpler method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the artificial biological member to be provided comprises addition of an organic substance to a prescribed area on the surface of a polymer substrate made of a biocompatible material, infiltration of the organic substance into the polymer substrate by bringing a supercritical fluid into contact with the surface of the polymer substrate to which the organic substance is added, dissemination of cells on the surface of the polymer substrate into which the organic substance is infiltrated, and cultivation of the cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
