MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POLYESTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically and efficiently manufacturing a polyester derived from biomass resources using a dicarboxylic acid and/or a diol derived from the biomass resources as raw materials of the polyester.

SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the polyester by a reaction of the dicarboxylic acid with the diol, the dicarboxylic acid and/or the diol are those obtained from the biomass resources and the polyester drawn out from a polymerization reactor is brought into contact with a water-soluble medium at 20°C or lower after the end of the polymerization reaction.
