PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a body for extrusion molding excellent in extrusion properties.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the body for extrusion molding has a compounding process for forming a compound containing a ceramic raw material powder component and an aqueous binder component, a body preparing process for kneading the compound using a kneader 1 having a hermetically sealed and cooled kneading container 2 while hermetically sealing and cooling the same in the kneading container 2 to prepare the body for extrusion molding and an extrusion process for extruding the body for extrusion molding while cooling the same using an extrusion molding machine 10 capable of cooling.
