<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emission gas cleaning catalyst which has a new structure having components carried individually at different positions in the same cell in accordance with the types of the catalyst components even if a plurality of types of the catalyst components (carrier, catalyst metal and the like) in the same cell of the carrier substrate coexist. <P>SOLUTION: The emission gas cleaning catalyst 1 comprises a carrier substrate 2 having a plurality of cells 2C which are divided by a partition 2' and penetrate in a predetermined direction, a first catalyst layer 2<SB>C1</SB>carried on at least one of the wall faces among the wall faces of the partition 2' which divide the same cell 2C and a second catalyst layer 2<SB>C2</SB>carried on the other wall face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
