<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a less accustomed user to simply input and register the music information (meta information) of a music CD which is not registered with a CDDB, to easily register. <P>SOLUTION: Both by an HDD 15 which stores databases 151 and 152 with which words constituting the names of artists, names of albums and music titles of music CDs which are registered with a CDDB 2, the words being preliminarily retrieved; and by a display part 20 which displays the results of retrieval of the databases 151 and 152, the retrieval being conducted by incremental searching on the basis of externally inputted characters, when names of artists and albums and/or music titles of a mounted music CD are not registered with the CDDB 2; a designated one result of retrieval is registered as the name of an artist or a part or the whole of the name of an album and/or music title in the case that a plurality of results of the retrieval are displayed in the display part 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
