<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross flow fan capable of reducing cost, while improving air blowing performance. <P>SOLUTION: This cross flow fan is formed by installing a plurality of blades 2 in a circumferential shape between respective partition plates 1 by mutually juxtaposing a plurality of annular partition plates 1, etc. in substantially parallel. A fitting recessed place 6 for fitting the blades 2 is arranged on the partition plates 1. A projection 7 in the inner diameter direction is arranged in a part opposed to the fitting recessed place 6 in the inner periphery of a hole 8 of the partition plates 1.
