<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus and method for interfacing a digital consumer electronic device with a digital broadcast signal. <P>SOLUTION: Broadcast signals are received by electronic devices which tune the signals and provide them to set back boxes. The set back boxes process the signals and provide a plurality of signals to a plurality of electronic devices. Digital video and audio signals are provided to digital devices.
