PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus in which favorable display characteristics can be obtained. SOLUTION: The display apparatus is configured to include: first and second TFTs 21, 22 disposed near an intersection of an n-th gate bus line 12n and a drain bus line 14; a first pixel electrode 16 electrically connected to the TFT 21; a second pixel electrode 17 electrically connected to the TFT 22 and separated from the first pixel electrode 16; a third TFT 23 whose source electrode is electrically connected to the second pixel electrode 17; and a buffer capacitor 28 which has a first buffer capacitor electrode 28a in a square form electrically connected to the drain electrode 23a of the third TFT 23 and has a second buffer capacitor electrode 28b in a square form disposed opposing to the first buffer capacitor electrode 28a through an insulating film and electrically connected to a storage capacitor bus line 18.
