PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical access system capable of recognizing a slave station through a consistent number system from registration setting of the slave station to alarming etc., during operation. SOLUTION: The management section 14 of a master station 1 is provided with an operation management table 101 in which a slave station management number 111 and a slave station identifier 112 are associated with each other and stored, and a connection control table 102 in which a logical line number imparted at the time of a connection with the slave station 2 and the slave station management number 111 are associated with each other and stored. The management section 14 acquires the slave station management number 111 associated with a slave station identifier 112 from the operation management table 101 when the master station 1 and an arbitrary slave station 2 are connected to each other, and sets a logical line number by associating it with the slave station management number 111 in the connection control table 102 matching the slave station management number 111.
