PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of being downsized by efficiently arranging respective members. SOLUTION: An optical imaging unit having an optical system and an imaging device for imaging an object is bent and disposed in an L shape from a first side wall of a camera body along a second side wall almost perpendicular to a the first side wall when seen from the side of the object, an optical member on which an optical image of the object in the optical system is first made incident is disposed near a first corner intersected by a third side wall almost parallel with the first side wall and the second side wall, and the imaging device is disposed near a second corner intersected by a fourth side wall almost parallel with the second side wall and the first side wall. Two printed circuit boards with an electronic component for processing an image mounted, a battery to be the power source of the electronic component and a memory card for recording an image signal are disposed in a cavity surrounded by the optical imaging unit, the third side wall and the fourth side wall, and additionally, mounting surfaces with the electronic components mounted in the two printed circuit boards are disposed facing each other.
