摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal electron emission backlight device capable of exhibiting uniform brightness by providing a thermal electron emitting unit in a space between a rear substrate and a front substrate. SOLUTION: The thermal electron emission backlight device comprises: a first substrate (110) and a second substrate (120) disposed in parallel and separated at a predetermined distance from each other; a plurality of spacers (140) for maintaining the predetermined distance; a first anode electrode (112) and a second anode electrode (122) facing each other, the first and second anode electrodes being formed on inner surfaces of the first substrate (110) and the second substrate (120), respectively; a plurality of cathode electrodes (130) disposed at predetermined intervals and in parallel with each other between the first substrate(110) and the second substrate (120); and a phosphor layer (144) formed on the second anode electrode (122).
