PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow fastening to a battery post by a simple rotational operation. SOLUTION: A battery terminal 1 comprises an electrode holder 11 extending along the outer periphery of a battery post 2, first and second side surfaces 12 and 13 that are extended frontward, facing each other, from the holder with its front part opened in circle, and electric wire connector 20 extended to back side of the electrode holder 11. A fastening hardware 16 is rotatably supported by the upper edge of the first side surface 12. As the hardware is rotated toward the second side surface 13, an operation surface 17 makes both side surfaces 12 and 13 approach each other while sliding on a sliding surface 24, allowing the electrode holder 11 to fasten the battery post 2. As the fastening hardware 16 is shifted backward in the axial direction of a rotational axis 15, the fastening hardware 16 engages with a lock receiver 25 to regulates return action.
