PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor mirror device capable of easily selecting the color of reflected light without using a color wheel, and to provide a projector using the semiconductor mirror device. SOLUTION: In a digital mirror device (DMD) 100, a plurality of mirrors 102 are arranged in a two-dimensional array form on a substrate, and respective mirrors 102 can be selectively tilted at a first angle or a second angle.
