PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand iron-finishing agent capable of obtaining a favorable aroma on hand-ironing and also imparting a residual aroma to clothes. SOLUTION: This hand iron-finishing agent is provided by containing (a) a cyclodextrin, (b) at least 1 kind of a compound selected from diethylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, diethylene glycol mono(1-4C)alkyl ether, dipropylene glycol mono(1-4C)alkyl ether, a polyoxyalkylene(mean added number of moles of an oxy(2-3C)alkylene is 1-5) monophenyl ether and an ester of an aromatic carboxylic acid with a 1-5C alcohol, (c) a perfumery component other than the component (b), and (d) water by (b)/(c) (mass ratio)=(50/50) to (99/1). The method for imparting a favorable aroma to the clothes is provided by spraying the iron finishing agent on hand-ironing the clothes. The product displaying that the agent imparts the favorable aroma to the clothes, is obtained by filling the finishing agent in a container equipped with a trigger type sprayer.
