PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stain transferred from image to the tip of a spur from being transferred again to recording paper and soiling the paper especially when a spur goes through a margin from a pigment Bk solid image (high-duty image) in an ink-jet printer for which the spur is used as a driven member of a delivery roller. SOLUTION: When the solid image (high-duty image) longer than the periphery length of the spur is printed, it is prevented that the ink adhered to the spur is transferred again to the recording paper and spoils the paper by providing a waiting time before the spur goes through the margin from the solid image and gaining a time to make the ink adhered to the spur periphery dried or dispersed.
