PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling planting device capable of surly transmitting seedlings in high precision with a simple structure even when irregularity is formed on the bottom of mat seedlings. SOLUTION: The seedling planting device 3 comprises a planting device 164 which separates a part of the mat seedlings to plant on the field and a seedling table 163 composed of a mat seedling transfer mechanism comprising a transfer belt 171 serially transferring the mat seedlings to a separating position of seedlings with the planting device 164, wherein, on the surface of the transfer belt 171, spread projections 172 spread with spaces to each other and row projections 173 continuously arranged by multiple pieces in the cross direction of the transfer belt 171 are formed, the spread projections 172 are cones having thin and sharp tip and higher than the row projections 173, and the row projections 173 each formed to be a square column shape having a flat top, whose front end and rear end are set in the cross direction of the transfer belt.
