HYBRID TIRE CORD AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

A hybrid tire cord and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by means of the nylon filament. The hybrid tire cord includes a nylon filament and aramid filament with the weight ratio of 10:90 to 90:10. The hybrid tire cord also includes two or three-ply of a nylon filament and aramid filament with the weight ratio of 2:1 to 1:2. The hybrid tire cord is applied to a cap ply for the high-speed running. The tensile strength of the nylon filament is above 8g/d, the cutting flexibility is above 17%. The tensile strength of the aramid filament is above 20g/d and the cutting flexibility is above 3.0%.
