A car video/audio processing system is provided to improve the safety of a car while driving, watch over and manage the car during absence of a user, and allow the user to utilize various multimedia functions within the car. A car video/audio processing system comprises a main control module(10) for controlling the input of an image signal of a camera and a video/audio codec module(20) for controlling the input and output of an external device. The camera utilizes infrared functions to secure a viewing image at night or in a dark place. The video/audio codec module includes an image processor(21) for processing the secured image and a data storage control unit(23) for recording an image of a car surveillance system.
