<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of changing a power generation area in accordance with a power load, advantageous for restriction of an uneven distribution of current density and improvement of durability of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: At least one flow passage out of a fuel flow passage 2 and an oxidant flow passage 3 of the fuel cell has a plurality of divided flow passages 21 to 27, 31 to 37 independent from each other, divided into the plural number in a direction of a face of an ion conductive film 10. Concerning a flow direction of fuel in the fuel flow passage 2 and that of oxidant in the oxidant flow passage 3, the flow direction is settled to a parallel flow type wherein a basic flow direction of the fuel is same as that of the oxidant, or a reversed flow type wherein a basic flow direction of the fuel is reversed to that of the oxidant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
