DRUM WRAP DETECTING DEVICE FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably detect drum wrap regardless of the color of loaded toner in detecting the drum wrap in a spot color electrophotographic printing system.

SOLUTION: In a drum wrap detecting method for a spot color electrophotographic printer to detect a sheet type recording member wound around a photoreceptor by providing a reflection type sensor capable of detecting the output difference of reflected light quantity between the photoreceptor and the sheet type recording member, the reference value of the reflected light quantity to be detected when the sheet type recording paper is wound around the photoreceptor is changed to a value corresponding to the color of the loaded toner.
