<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize space saving and cost reduction by efficiently exhausting the inner side of a main body 3. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling device of an image forming apparatus 2 is equipped with the main body 3 having one side wall 4 and the other side wall 6, and a front end wall 8 and a rear end wall 10, a fixing device 60 which is arranged in the main body 3, an exhaust opening 14 which is formed in the one side wall 4 and discharges forms, a cooling fan 92, and an exhaust port 16 formed in the rear end wall 10 opposite the cooling fan 92. The cooling device is equipped with an air duct 100 which forms an air flow passage in cooperation with the fixing device 60.
