CONTENT DISPLAY/REPRODUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD, MEDIUM RECORDING CONTENT DISPLAY/REPRODUCTION PROGRAM, AND OPERATION CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content display/reproduction system in which switching of moving video is presented to a user intuitively when display/reproduction of content is switched for streaming download from a content supply section between an operation control section and a display/reproduction section connected with a network.

SOLUTION: In the content display/reproduction system 10, an operation control section 17 has a section for displaying the video image of content which is stream downloaded from a content supply section 12 or 13 through a home network 11 and reproducing voice. When display/reproduction of content for streaming download from the content supply section 12 is switched between the display/reproduction section and a display/reproduction section 14, 15 or 16 connected with the home network 11, an animation indicative of feeling of movement of the content is displayed by the incorporated display/reproduction section.
