<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical printer head which can maintain stable light emission by preventing an adhesive agent for adhering an LED array chip to a printed circuit board from oozing out to the surface of the LED array chip. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical printer head wherein a plurality of light emitting diode element array chips 4 are adhered and fixed on the printed circuit board 1 surface so as to be arranged in linear form via the adhesive agent 6, a recessed part 8 recessed from the circuit board surface is formed on the printed circuit board 1 corresponding to the portion between the adjacent light emitting diode element array chips 4, 4.
