PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroacoustic transducer whereby an excellent point-source with omnidirectivity can be obtained. SOLUTION: In configuring an electroacoustic transducer 10A wherein a multifaced diaphragm assembly 11A of nearly a spherical shape shell including a diaphragm 11 for combining a plurality of regular pentagonal diaphragm segments 12 is formed, a plurality of speaker drive units 20A are arranged to an inner face side of the multifaced diaphragm assembly 11A opposite to the diaphragm segments 12, and one-side ends 24a of bobbins 24 of the speaker drive units 20A are adhered to a center part of an inner face of the diaphragm segments 12, it is characterized in that a multifaced speaker housing assembly 26 assembled to be nearly a spherical shape shell by combining outer circumferential side faces 27a of speaker housings 27 adjacent to each other is contained in the electroacoustic transducer 11A.
