PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk unit in which further miniaturization is made possible. SOLUTION: The disk unit has a drive motor 22 for supporting a disk recording medium 20 arranged inside a chassis 10 to rotate, a head 24 for performing information processing to the disk recording medium 20, an actuator 26 for supporting this head 24 free to move and moving it to the disk recording medium 20, a control circuit substrate 12 approximately rectangle in shape and arranged in piles overlapping an external surface for the chassis 10, a main part 75, arranged on this control circuit substrate 12, which is in the shape along a corner part 77 and at least one side joining this for the control circuit substrate 12, a connector having a first connection terminal 75a arranged in a surface facing the chassis for this main part 75, and a second connection terminal 84 connected to the drive motor 22, facing the first connection terminal 75a and arranged on an external surface for the chassis 10 possible to contact the first connection terminal 75a.
