MONITORING SYSTEM IN SPECIFIC MONITORING AREA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system in a specific area, which can surely prevent crimes by suspicious persons by comparatively simple equipment in a specific area such as a harbor and an airport which may become a target of international terrorism.

SOLUTION: The monitoring system 1 comprises: a personal authentication information input means 3 for reading out the personal identification information 6 of an entrance person H1 or an exit person H2 arranged on a gateway 2 of a monitoring area A; an information database 41 in which entrance permission information 411 or an exit permission information 412 of each entrance person H1 or each exit person H2 to/from the monitoring area A is previously stored; a collation means 431 for collating the personal authentication information 6 inputted to the personal authentication information input means 3 with the entrance permission information 411 or the exit permission information 412; a transmitter 44 for transmitting the collated result of the collation means 431 to a crime prevention apparatus 21 arranged on a prescribed position; and an input device 46 for storing the entrance permission information 411 or the exit permission information 412 in the information database 41. The entrance schedule time of each entrance person H1 is included in the entrance permission information 411 and the exit schedule time of each exit person H2 is included in the exit permission information 412.
