RECOMMENDED SPEED SETTING DEVICE AND VEHICLE CONTROLLER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recommended speed setting device and a vehicle controller for setting a speed which is appropriate for stably traveling on a curve.

SOLUTION: This recommended speed setting device is provided with a road map database 5 in which information on the map of a road where a vehicle travels is stored, a corner information extracting means 11 for extracting the curvature of a corner present ahead in a traveling direction and the road length of the corner and a recommended speed setting means 12 for setting a recommended speed suitable for traveling at the corner on the basis of the curvature of the corner and the road length of the corner extracted by the corner information extracting means.
