PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide eaves capable of eliminating any special working such as a boring or the like in an eaves plate and preventing the damage of the circumferential edge of the eaves plate and the deformation of the eaves plate resulting from deflection to reduce neither strength nor appearance. SOLUTION: The basic end edge of the plate glass-made eaves plate 2 is supported by a supporting device 3 mounted on an external wall surface of a building. The eaves plate 2 is suspended with arms 4 and 4. Edge frames 5 are put on both side edges of the eaves plate 2. Each edge frame 5 has a sliding groove parallel in the direction of the length, and two positioning members are slidably held by the sliding groove. The lower end section of two arms 4 supporting the upper ends of them by the external wall surface of the building are respectively connected to the positioning members of the edge frames 5.
