PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket attachment apparatus for an actuator or the like provided with superior sealing performance in a seal face, and achieving superior assembly workability by preventing unexpected falling of a gasket. SOLUTION: The gasket attachment apparatus 4 attaches the annular gasket 3 with elasticity in a gasket attachment groove 2 provided on the seal face 1. It has a protrusion part 5 extending in a thickness direction on both or either one of an inner circumferential face 3a and an outer circumferential face 3b of the gasket 3 formed with a width size smaller than a groove width of the gasket attachment groove 2. The protrusion part 5 is abutted on a groove wall surface 2a when incorporating the gasket 3 in the attachment groove 2 to hold the gasket in the gasket attachment groove 2.
