PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure and a discharging method of infiltrating water capable of extending life of sealing by preventing a solid material from intruding in a sealing sliding face which causes wear. SOLUTION: An impeller 4 is fixed to a rotation shaft 1 and a gutter 4C and a gutter 4D are formed at a soil water side and an oil seal 2B side at right angles to the axial direction of a rotation shaft 22A. When the impeller 4 rotates, flow is generated in the gutter 4C of the soil water side by centrifugal force of the impeller. As static pressure of periphery of the gutter 4C is lowered by the flow, fluid which does not contain solid material of inside of the impeller 4 is sucked out from a clearance 4A of the impeller 4 and a fixing ring 5. When the gutter 4D at the sealing side of the impeller 4 rotates in a mixing chamber 5D of the fixing ring 5, eddy flow is generated in the mixing chamber 5D by centrifugal force of fluid spattering out from the gutter 4D. Thus, because the fluid entering in the mixing chamber 5D from a suction port 5A is discharged into the soil water from a discharging port 5B as its pressure is raised along with rotation of the impeller according to a principle of vortex flow pump, intrusion of the solid material into the sealing sliding face can be prevented.
