PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock type power accumulation starter device capable of reducing the number of constituent parts and its size. SOLUTION: A rotation prevention part 20 is provided with an engaging part 54 for preventing rotation of a ratchet pulley 24 and an energizing means 22 for maintaining an engaging condition of the engaging part 54 to prevent rotation of the ratchet pulley 24 until driving force required for starting an engine is accumulated.
