PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to output the content of data in easily understandable modes when outputting sales data stored as code data by an external device by general-purpose chart system software in a sales data processor. SOLUTION: In an ECR 1, the code data of each field of a file stored in a file memory 13b are divided by commas, and title characters are added as identification data for identifying each code data, and also headers relating to the data such as the model name, machine name, report name, output date or output time of the ECR 1 are added, and the code data are converted into a general-purpose data format (for example, text data), and output through a CF card to the external device.
