PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate the variation in luminance to solve the problem, wherein the luminance of a FED becomes uneven by the variation in electron emission amounts of electron sources depending on the manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A correction circuit related to the present invention divides electron sources respectively into a plurality of blocks of the horizontal direction and the vertical direction and decides correction values of crossing points of dividing lines of the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, that is, of only four corners of each block, and performs data interpolation by these correction values in the block.
