PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device equipped with a gradation level generating circuit which facilitates adjustments of voltage values of a gradation voltage group without increasing the circuit scale, and its driving circuit. SOLUTION: A source driver 300 includes a gradation setting register 36 which outputs gradation control signals KC1 to KC4 for controlling the operation of the gradation voltage generating circuit 35. A gradation reference voltage Vγ1 which is input from outside is supplied to one of nodes P2 and P3 according to states of switches SW1 and SW2 controlled by the gradation control signals KC1 and KC2. Similarly, a gradation reference voltage Vγ2 which is input from outside is supplied to one of nodes P4 and P5 according to states of switches SW3 and SW4 controlled by the gradation control signals KC3 and KC4. The gradation setting register 36 is so set that desired gradation voltage groups V0 to V63 are generated in response to the user's request according to the kind of a liquid crystal panel.
