PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PP (pilferproof) cap which prevents the production of aluminum chips, etc. SOLUTION: The metal pilferproof cap is composed of a disc-shaped top face, and a cylindrical side trunk extending down from the outer periphery of the top face. The lower part of the side trunk has a ring-like skirt strip 16 to be connected to the upper part of the side trunk via a plurality of bridges. A thin-walled part 38 is formed on the circumferential lower edge of the skirt 16, where the thin-walled part 38 is folded along the entire circumference to form a folded back part 40.
