PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a sheet-like object which can degas the air trapped in a molding material at a low equipment cost. SOLUTION: First, a molding material 1 is fed out in a sheet-like form, then this sheet-like molding material 2 is allowed to pass through the lower side of a perforating roll 4 with numerous needle-like protrusions 3 implanted around the outer periphery of the sheet-like molding material 2 and the numerous open holes are perforated in the upper surface of the sheet-like molding material 2 by piercing the sheet-like molding material 2 with the needle-like protrusions 3. Next, the sheet-like molding material 2 is pressurized by holding the upper surface of the material 2 with the help of a hold-down roll 5. The air bubble trapped in the molding material 1 can be broken through opening the numerous holes by piercing the sheet-like molding material 2 with the needle-like protrusions 3 of the perforating roll 4. Further, the air in the molding material 1 can be expelled to the outside by holding down the upper surface of the sheet-like molding material 2 with the help of the hold-down roll 5 and pressurizing the material 2.
