PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick-drying wood surface treatment agent constituted of 100% of a natural component harmless to the human body, having a drying time faster than that of quick-drying oil such as sesame oil, linseed oil, tung oil, etc. and having a function for enhancing the aesthetic feeling of wood such as a function for making the woodgrain of wood conspicuous, a function for making the surface of wood lusterous. SOLUTION: The quick-drying wood surface treatment agent to be used is compounded with 5.0 wt.% or above of animal and plant oils and fats, which are characterized in that the total amount of oleic acid and linoleic acid in fatty acids constituting the animal and plant oils and fats having a saponification number is 170-200 is 65.0% or above and the ratio of both acids is 1.0:0.6-1.1, and 40.0 wt.% or below of at least one of carnauba wax, candelilla wax, rice wax, jojoba wax, vegetable wax, shellac wax, Chinese wax, beeswax, spermaceti wax, lanoline, montan wax, ozocerite, paraffin wax and microcrystalline wax all of which are natural wax.
