PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding tool for a Yaen (a set of hooks for fishing cuttlefish) for holding the yaen at a place capable of being reached by a hand at any necessary time and at any place, for reducing the complicated operations by an angler on using the Yaen in fishing cuttlefishes and while holding strongly but capable of being detached by a single hand. SOLUTION: This clip for holding the Yaen on a fishing rod, having a nipping position of a fishing rod and a nipping position of the Yaen is provided with that the position for nipping the Yaen is constituted by a U-shaped resilient clip body having left and right nipping pieces as opened-up state, and a U-shaped resilient pressing cover has a narrow width than that of the left and right nipping pieces of the clip body, the pressing cover is fixed at the position for nipping the fishing rod, the pressing cover and clip body are engaged with each other, the clip body is attached on the inside of the pressing cover vertically slidably, and by having a structure of nip-holding the Yaen by approaching the left and right nipping pieces of the clip body each other in a compressed state, the Yaen is easily detached from the fishing rod.
