#CMT# #/CMT# The varnishing press comprises at least two rotatably-mounted rollers (1, 2, 3) about one axle (1~,2~,3~) which either touch one another or are in a reduced spacing in a working position. At least one of the axles (2~,3~) may be arranged, in a path around 25 millimetres in a cleaning position, together with an adjustable device (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b). There is a first means through which the rollers main drive in its cleaning position switches, whilst there is a second means through which a neighbouring drive of the rollers adapts in the cleaning position with the rollers in operating position.
