The timber flooring element (11) has a several wooden strips (1), and located on a polymer laminar layer (3). The strips are laterally arranged a distance from each other and connected by joints (2) made from polymer mass (4). The wooden strips consist of teak wood. The joints are only partially filled with polymer mass and not completely up to an upper edge of the wooden strips. The joints are filled completely up to the upper edge of the wooden strips with polymer mass. An independent claim is included for a door mat.
